SEE AND YET NOT UNDERSTAND

Read Genesis 1:1-31.
From these passages of scripture we learn that God is the Creator (v.1) and is creative (v.20) and He is in control. God emphasised the importance of mankind (vs.26-28).

Read Psalm 19:1-14.
God has revealed Himself (vs.1-6); we learn about our relationship with God (vs.7-11); and how God is part of our daily lives (vs.12-14).

Read Matthew 10:28-31.
God again mentions His concern for each one of us.

Read Acts 4:13-31.
Peter and John had 'been with Jesus' (v.13). Do we recognise the power and authority of God in our lives?

Read Romans 1:18-32.
Any thinking person should accept creation without question. God is revealed in this (v.20). But everyone must decide where they stand with God for the day of judgement is as real as the world He created. This theme is continued in -
Romans 8:18-27.
Creation has fallen from its perfect state because of sin (see also 2 Chronicles 7:14).

God is interested in every detail of our daily lives; in our-

ACTIONS

Luke 3:1-18. Faith leads to action (James 2:14-26).
Matthew 5:13-20. Faith must be genuine.
Esther 4:14. God will use the actions of the faithful.

RELATIONSHIPS John 16:16-33. The coming of Jesus created our personal relationship with God.
2 Corinthians 6:14-18. Our relationships should not compromise our faith.
Ephesians 2:11-22. A Christian relationship surmounts worldly barriers.
