I am not as Christian, but I'd like to respond to you. TKD, and all the martial arts is not about fighting. It is a spiritual practice, combining many things that lead to self improvement. It's about community, and each person helping another. It's about having confidence in your self and the other members of the Dojang.

Here's a good quote that I tell to new students from a book " Three golden pearls on a string" "Tae Kwon Do is not something that one does, it's something that one becomes. And though the external mask of training may be readily seen in the lighted arena, the essence of Tae Kwon Do is the ever veiled presence of being. True warriors dare to live as they believe; to be true to their most noble dreams; to understand and control the raging tides of their emotions; to perceive their indivisibility with nature, and to follow the course dictated by their spirits."

Don't feel guilty, keep training!
