Around 70 people gave their lives to the Lord when a team of 30 students travelled from Brisbane, Queensland, to Taree, NSW, in April 1999 for a weekend outreach from the School of Ministries. Peter Earle, the principal, and some students spoke at the meetings and the team visited schools, homes and witnessed in the streets where some were converted also. The team returned rejoicing at what the Lord had done, including many being healed.

The School of Ministries has been experiencing fresh moves of the Spirit in packed chapels each morning, some students praying on ‘prayer mountain’ at 6 am for five days a week, and students praying together each lunch time and in many classes. Earlier this year students filled over a large wheelie bin with junk they discarded, including many CDs.

The School of Ministries with 100 full time students and another 50 part time is part of Brisbane COC where 750 people made commitments to Christ in 1998, and over 300 had done so in 1999 by April.

I am now working extensively with a young church in Launceston, Tasmania named The Vine Christian Church (AOG). The pastors are Graeme and Merrilyn Billing who, until recently, ran Psalmody in Australia for around eleven years.

God gave a new concept to a new convert, Dave Davis, while he was on the carpet in a meeting last year. The concept was to call the nations to prayer and claim their "World4God". He intended that at 00.00GMT on the 21^st November, 1998 (11.00am Sunday 22^nd November EST), an initial target of 1,000,000 people would be praying at the one time, claiming the "World4God" (as the event was called).

In the first week they had had one million visitors to their hastily constructed site! The six-digit counter had crashed within 36 hours of the site being up and running with 999,999 visitors looking to claim this World4God! They set to work to make sure it was not just a software problem. But the company who provided the counter informed them that they had thoroughly checked it, only to find that what the counter stated was really happening. This news made it very clear that God was in this thing.

In the eight weeks leading up to 11.00am Sunday 22^nd November EST (00.00GMT), they were inundated with contacts from all parts of the world who had heard about the Prayer Day and registered their intention to join them. As a result, it was clear that they had to adjust their target from one million, to five million prayer warriors around the world praying at the same time for revival in the nations and a worldwide harvest of souls!

The response was overwhelming. By Sunday 22^nd November, the counter on the Welcome Page (now capable of handling 10 million) was registering that they had received an additional four million visits to their little website - in Launceston!

On Monday 23^rd November, the counter registered over 7,240,000 verifiable hits! Whilst it is impossible to estimate a totally accurate figure, given that many churches reported to The Vine Christian Church that they prayed without coming on-line to their website on the day, it seems clear that the revised target of five million praying at the one time from all around the world was certainly met.

These registrations have come in from all parts of the world including an e-mail personally written from Evangelist Steve Hill of Brownsville Assembly of God committing their church to join us in prayer."

Even more important than the numbers, has been the feedback from churches who have reported powerful times of intercession during their meetings and a powerful sense of the presence of the Lord. Many testify to powerful Spirit-directed times of intercession in their meetings on that Sunday. Some reported that they were unable to preach as the Holy Spirit took their intercession to the heights.

As a result of the overwhelming response to World4God Day 1998, The Vine Christian Church will, next year, be calling ten million people to prayer to claim the World4God on the corresponding weekend in November 1999.

We have been hearing about what God has been doing overseas filling people’s teeth with gold, silver and platinum, and even braces turning to gold. At River Christian Church in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia we have been believing the Lord for miracles, signs & wonders like we have never seen before for a while now. He led us into a time of intense warfare for a few months and then began to put on our hearts the real desire to see the miracles happen and that souls would be added because of what He is doing like in Acts 4 where the disciples asked the Lord to give them boldness to preach the gospel by stretching forth His healing power and that signs & wonders be done in the name of Jesus.

On Sunday night, 14th March, 1999, we asked all present to lay hands on their mouths and we prayed that the Lord would fill the teeth with gold. By Monday night we were amazed as we actually saw fillings change into gold before our eyes. Personally gold fillings appeared in my mouth, my wife also and others are getting blown away by their fillings changing before their eyes. God is awesome. …

We had a couple of crew from the USS Carl Vincent in port for a few days visit come to some of the meetings. One of them received gold fillings, praise the Lord. What a thing to carry back on board. We prayed that revival would break out onboard that warship. …

Jeannette (my wife) was ministering in Richmond at a ladies night (when) ... a whole bunch of them including the pastor’s wife saw their teeth turn to gold. Some of the ladies when they returned home prayed for their husbands who in turn received gold fillings. The pastor apparently didn’t believe what had happened but when the pastor’s wife prayed for him he received gold. One lady had just had her teeth refilled at the dentist last week with white porcelain. They were gold also. She was a little put out by it at first!

This is our first — Gold dust appeared on people’s faces. One unsaved guy had it and got saved. He shared that his wife has been coming along and has been gloriously healed and her life completely changed, as has his mother in law. His other unsaved family members are coming along and in his own words ‘they are next’.

Thanks especially for your prayer; it is so very much needed. Alas there are the knockers and skeptics but let me assure you we have seen more lives changed, more healings and more salvations in the last four weeks then in many previous years.

Wednesday night, before Dutch Sheets delivered a powerfully anointed message, there was a short video clip shown of John Arnott ministering in a South Africa meeting where people’s teeth were being filled with gold. After the clip, John asked for anyone who wanted this miracle to stand and believe for it while touching the sides of their faces. After the prayer he asked that we check each others’ mouths and about 10 people went forward, some yelling and all excited because they now had gold teeth and fillings which they did not previously have!

What an absolute thrill to be there and to see this happening. So John let a couple testify and we prayed again. This time more people received the miracle. A third time of praying came as did more miracles! Then, at just about every meeting there was prayer for this miracle and every time there would be many who would discover their mouth filled with gold! Last count that I heard was over 198 people who were leaving the conference with some gold in their mouths! This particular manifestation never occurred at TACF before! …

On Friday many people were granted the privilege by the Lord of actually watching the transformation happening including one medical doctor who confessed he’d never seen anything like it before. The drummer of the worship team received gold teeth as did one of the pastors on staff there at TACF and while officially collecting these testimonies from the saints, the man who was recording them received gold teeth as well!

In addition to this miracle there were other wonderful healings of chronic, sever back disorders and cysts being removed. And on Saturday...the wonderful "gold dust" started showing up on people’s hands and in their tears as they worshipped!

On Wednesday evening, April 7, 1999, at the Portland Foursquare church we had several dental miracles. About five for sure received gold fillings, two received silver fillings and several others had their teeth polished and cleaned. Something new has happened that we have not seen, one girl had four silver fillings in her mouth and they all disappeared being replaced with new teeth. One of the camera men who was a skeptic had two silver fillings disappear out of his mouth.

The gold dust fell that night on the skeptical sound booth and camera guys and they were trying to wipe the gold off, but couldn’t. All the rings on one young man’s braces turned gold. There was a deaf ear that opened, a lady had new arches which replaced the fallen ones and there were others healed.

On TBN on Thursday the gold dust fell on the studio crowd before we started the show and a full gold filling appeared in one of the guest pastor’s wife’s mouth. And another lady had four gold fillings and a fifth one refilled as well as many other teeth reshined and cleaned. The gold dust fell on the camera people who were filming TBN and they actually got it on camera.

On Sunday evening .... there was oil showing up on people’s hands. At least twenty people received new gold teeth, there was more gold dust and there were many healings.

What a night, ... I am overwhelmed! Tonight the eighth night began like all the rest. Seven thousand people in attendance. Great praise and worship. Every thing that led to the previous three thousand five hundred people being saved in one week, was being done again tonight. But tonight there was a difference - the massive amount of sick people.

To be sure, Charles Ndifon had said, "bring the sick, the dying, and the dead ...!" But just to see them all assembled in front of you is was very disconcerting. There were thousands of sick! Rows of wheel chairs, stretchers, and wheelbarrows with the sick. The mentally retarded, the crippled, and the deformed. …

In all at least three hundred people experienced some type of healing that night. Many would be healed in their homes that night as they slept. What an awesome night. I realized as well I learned something, "Don’t let compassion move into pity, and then into unbelief. Keep looking at God. He is the one that heals you!"

The message of Christ and demonstrations of supernatural power are making converts in India, a ministry says. About 15,000 people are becoming Christians daily in the country of 900 million, Guine Anderson of the Hong Kong-based Sowers Ministry told Religion Today.

...Indigenous evangelists are preaching in north India. More than 5,000 congregations have been started by workers from 25 denominations or missions agencies in the region since the 1970s, AD2000 and Beyond said. Central and northern India are Hindu and tribal strongholds and resistant to the gospel.

...Prayer and a new missionary zeal are behind the success, Anderson said. Christians used to be reluctant to travel to the north because of its difficult terrain, climate, and hostile spiritual atmosphere. But the prayers of Christians worldwide have given the Indian church more boldness, he said. "Now, because the Spirit of God is moving, people are willing to sacrifice—you have to be willing to sacrifice your very life—and we are sending more native and local missionaries there."

...Workers can start a church with 40-60 believers within two months of their first visit to a village, Anderson said. Many Muslims and Hindus, discouraged from trying to gain salvation through good works and religious rituals, respond immediately to the message of grace preached by Christians, he said. "When they hear that Jesus sets you free and gives you eternal life, they respond very quickly."

...Others become Christians after seeing a demonstration of God’s power.

Supernatural healing and other miracles are not uncommon, Anderson said. After his conversion in the 1980s, he travelled with an evangelist in the region.

...Evangelists pray for the sick. "It has become a pattern and it’s just like Jesus did. He preached the word and healed people," Anderson said. "We always tell them that it is not us,but Jesus Christ who is the healer. We are just instruments."

...Hundreds of people became Christians after a woman was cured of a stomach tumor. Evangelists from the Sowers ministry prayed for her after meeting her husband. "He said he had gone to the [Hindu] temples all his life and made all the pilgrimages, but still had no meaning in life and his wife was dying," Anderson said. The evangelists told the man that Jesus Christ would heal his wife and he invited them to his home to pray for her. Thatnight in a dream he saw Jesus Christ touch his wife’s stomach, and later told the workers. In the morning her stomach pains were gone and a visit to the doctor confirmed that the tumor had disappeared, Anderson said. More than 80 families from their village became Christians and have started a church as a result of her testimony.

...More than 80,000 people responded to Christ’s message at services preached by evangelist P.P. Job. "It was so awesome to see. They had such a hunger, and you could see it in their eyes, dripping with tears," said Anderson, who prayed for people to be healed of diseases and other physical and spiritual ailments.

...Indian Christians are persecuted more than ever for their faith. Hundreds of churches have been burned and several missionaries killed by Hindu radicals in the past year. Nevertheless evangelists continue to preach in dangerous areas. "Continue to pray for India and for many people to come to Christ," Anderson said. "We very much want the prayers of the body of Christ. That is the reason that so many are being saved."

A Nepal pastor in Kathmandu writes:

We have seen the great power of God more this week than in the previous six years of our ministry. This week we had an annual celebration day at our church. Three great healings happened, and many were saved.

A Hindu man’s leg needed to amputated, according to the doctor, so he went to collect the money for the operation from his relatives. During that time he met one of our church members. "Is there any hope for my father’s leg?" his daughter asked. "Of course," said our member. Three people carried him to the church, holding his left and right legs. They looked like big pillars. When he entered inside we were singing a song called "My life is in you; my healing is in You." We were continually praising the Lord.

All of sudden one fat woman fell down on the ground and repented. She looked like she was almost dead. She repented like this, "Lord forgive me. I helped some of my friends to do an abortion. Relieve me from my guilty feelings."

I was concerned about the man suffering from his leg. I was looking at him, but then a voice came from another corner, "Lord I thank you that you healed me. I needed three operations, but I went to the doctor and he told me, ‘You don’t need the operations. I don’t know what has happened to your body in the last month.’" So he brought the money which he has saved for operation, and we bought the sound system. He is playing piano in the church now.

Still I was looking at that guy who was suffering from his legs. After worship we did not see him in the church. We were surprised. Where was he gone? But we didn’t want to interrupt the fellowship, because we were praying.

The next week he was supposed to come for the service at ten o’clock. He and his family came early at eight o’clock and were praying like any things. We thought the youths were practising the songs for the service! Praise the Lord the man who came with the help of his three friends, this week came with other 14 people to witness that God healed his legs. We asked him why he went so early last week. Nobody knew where he went. So he replied like this, "My wife had invited people to do Hindu rituals for my health, so I went fast to stop her. I told her not to call anybody because I am healed by Jesus." Praise the Lord his 14 friends will be baptised soon.
