If Spong thinks that this age is so scientific that they will reject
the notion of a super-natural event occuring, then he has missed the
boat completely, and essentially is already behind the times! 

Modernist thought may agree with him, but the Post-modern thinker
would readily embrace the possibility of the Resurrection. 

Spong himself is already irrelevant before his book is published -
if he claim the thoughts forms of the day are paramount, then his a
abt least 30 years behind.
