Little Boxes (CLM 757)

Thanks for the thoughts. Time management is one of the great
challenges of adult life.

We enter headlong into commitments that consume the time of our lives
and rue the loss of liberty that entails.

How do I change my life to be ABLE to respond to the still small
voice which says "Come aside" or "Wait here". Never yet has he told
me why, only to do it, and the why becomes clear after obedience.

Trouble now is I'm grown up and too busy to stop, come aside or wait.
Charging on I am concerned, even alarmed at my drivenness, but there
are bills to be paid. I am wrapped in a cloak of committments covered
in stickers that say 'do not remove'.

Yet I read in the scriptures " It is vain for you to rise early and
stay up late fearing you will not have enough to eat"..

Part of me is still alive enough to wonder what to do and I thank you
for the reminder.

Keep on in Him who is the source and end of all things.

Love to Jesus
