Nat wrote this for a meeting
of the Family Law Court Support Group.Based on Phillipians 2 this is one of those songs that just happens with the help of God's Spirit.
It was never intended as a congregational song, but wherever it's sung, people
love it, and want to sing it themselves.
You died for me, to set me free
You paid the price that I deserved
You've shown me love, A servant heart
A life lived in accordance with God's will
A life that's not filled with conceit
A life that's unified with Christ
You've shown me Lord that I can be
Pure and blameless in Your sight
For He has risen
He's triumphed and He's won
He humbled Himself so we could be one
I'll never know the pain that was Yours
But my tongue confess that You are Lord
The perfect example of what we should be
You're humble, a servant to me
You emptied Yourself and God became flesh
My God in the likeness of man
And now I look on Your marvellous light
On Your name that is above all names
You're highly exalted, a king in His place
And everything under Your reign
