"Don't Buy The Lie" was a sermon series at Lakeview Anglican in January 1998. The original draft came from the topics of the sermons. It was sung successfully at church. When I first heard this song, I was impressed by "the hooky" chorus. It's good, solid, upbeat encouragement not to get sucked in by all that the world seems to offer.

Made by chance, alone it seems
This talk of God, is just a dream
Where's the hope in a life uncertain?
When death will be the final curtain

Don't buy the lie that man will sell you
The father of lies will lead you wrong
So Live by the word of God within you
We have a better life with Christ

You're the greatest, number one
Don't get walked on by anyone
Live and worship as you choose
All roads to heaven, you can't lose

Winning isn't everything
I heard a wise man say
Losing for eternity without God
No way!
