Can I find Hillsongs, Integrity and Vineyard stuff here?
We can't provide you with their sheet music. Its copyright. You can buy it on the web, but if anyone has it for free, they are breaking the law.You can listen to some recordings of their stuff here, and we have links to resources for their most searched for songs. However, if you like them, we think you'll like us, so bite the bullet and check out some fine Indie music.
Why should I join Mp3.com?
Beacause its the only way you'll be able to listen to all music we post from November 2000. Also, if enough people listen and download, we get paid, so we can keep this free site running. And its freeWhat is CCLI?
Christian Copyright and Licensing International. It is a licensing organisation to make it easier for churches to use Christian music legally, and provide some compensation for us poor idiots who spend $10,000 or more recording CD's :-)
- Your church pays an annual license fee.
- They record the songs they use each year (just a list of titles, not how often they are played).
- The license fees are divvied up among the writers.
Is it really free?
Yes. Absolutely. Our music has been a blessing and inspiration to 1000's of people just like you. We wish that Christians would be willing to pay for sheet music, but the experience of 100's of indie songwriters is that they wont. So we've decided to make the music freely available, and leave it between you and God as to how you reward us.
