Team Managers

Could all teams mangers be reminded that the following needs to be actioned each week:

1. Each team must supply a linesperson (or points may be deducted from the team)

2. Match sheets must be signed off by team officials to confirm the correct and full spelling of player names, the correct scoreline, correct goal scorers and best and fairest player. Official result scores can only be officially confirmed by the referee.

Thankyou,

Alan Garnder - ICSA Registrar.

SCARF Players

If you still need players and are interested please contact
Graham Brisbane

NOTE: Could teams that already have SCARF players in their club please let me know so that their registration and insurance can be allocated correcty.

ICSA 2011 Draw

the 2011 draw has been update - changes highlighted in yellow.

2011 Competition Draw

1. Due to the need to allow players and supporters to move between games across the Illawarra, it has not been possible to fully allocate Home matches to a fixed ground each week. However there remains a need to ensure pitches are marked (using the Association linemarker if needed – contact Zoran).

Grounds for this purpose have therefore been allocated (refer to 2011 draw - last page)

Clubs are asked to make sure the linemarking is kept in a state that allows matches to be played without the Ref/linesman having to make guesses on whether the ball is out of play.

2. Clubs are reminded that they are responsible for providing one linesman for each of their matches. Referees will be making a record of where this is not complied with and teams can lose points for failing to provide a linesman.

A Message from Christian Football Federation Australia

Hello everyone,

I like you, have been watching the footage of the floods in Queensland and have been overwhelmed with the magnitude of the disaster. Some reports are saying that 75% of QLD has been flood affected.

I have been touched personally by the floods, with my uncle and aunt in Toowoomba losing their business. They are safe and are already planning to restock and restart. A mammoth task!

Can I ask that you remember in your prayers the players, coaches and officials of the Queensland Christian Soccer Assoc, Baptist Football Queensland and Sunshine Coast Christian Soccer Assoc. Some have lost businesses, homes and some have lost loved ones, some are still missing. Pray for their safety. Pray that they will not lose faith in God in the midst of physical loss.

The Christian Football Federation Australia Executive uphold in prayer our QLD committee members: Russell Lee (President), Greg Olive (Secretary) and Tibor Hagymas (Director Coaching).
You may like to donate to flood appeals. The QLD Premiers Flood Appeal or the BaptCare QLD Flood Appeal

Whatever you do, please continue to think of and pray for our northern brothers and sisters.

Because of Calvary,
Christian Football Federation Australia

Footnote

A motion will be put forward at the upcoming AGM that we make a $1000 donation to the Qld flood appeal.

Regards - Graham Brisbane. President
