Premier Division Grand Final

Sadly, the Premier Division Grand Final was abandoned close to half time when Phil Tolhurst, the father of Matthew playing for Woonona Baptist and long term supporter of the ICSA, collapsed on the sidelines during the match. Despite the efforts of the paramedics, Phil could not be revived and passed away on the way to hospital.

Phil had many friends in the ICSA and many will remember his efforts in the earlier days of the Association to make the competition the enjoyable event it is today. He will be missed by many but I am sure his memory will remain for years to come and the thoughts and prayers of all of us are with the family at this time.

In agreement with Woonona Baptist and Concrete the game will not be replayed and the Premiership has been awarded to Concrete on the basis of their position in winning the minor Premiership.

ICSA Competition Draw updated 

An allowance was initially made for the rescheduling of 1 washed out weekend round if required. Therefore, round 9 has been rescheduled for 28-8-2010. Please refer to the updated ICSA draw for details. The final series has been pushed back 1 week to accommodate this. Please note, the Grand Final is now on the 18th Sep 2010.

Illawarra 3 v 2 Newcastle

The Day was an absolute success where the team played against talented newcastle players. Also the fellowship associated with meeting other like-minded players from a different association was great. Nathan Williams - Rep team Coordinator.

ICSA Representative team trials

Any ICSA players that wish to trial for a place in the 2010 ICSA representative team is invited attend trials on Sunday 9,16,23 May @ Dalton park, Fairy Meadow 12.30pm start for approximately 2 hours duration. Players from all ICSA teams and all divisions are most welcome. Players need to be able to commit to playing on the 29th May and June long weekend. Thankyou, Nathan Williams - Rep Team Coordinator.

Rubbish Grounds

To all team managers. All teams are responsible for the removal of all rubish from the ground you are playing at, this includes visiting teams as well.if we don't comply we risk loosing that ground. No excuses, no exceptions. Thankyou, Zoran Gardner - Grounds Coordinator.
