Churches are for worship!

That's the bottom line. And at the Geelong Christian Reformed Church you can come and worship twice every Sunday - at 10 in the morning, and at 6 at night. You are welcome to join us, as many do every Sunday. Its a public worship service, so you can come anytime!

Then there are the special services - on Christmas Day, Good Friday, Easter and Pentecost. Even if you never come to church, you should come on these special days! You are most welcome.

Every Sunday after church we get together for a cuppa in the Potter Street hall. Its a busy, friendly, happy place, and you will enjoy the company. Do join us!

For the Kids!

GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Saviour)
Girls club for 9-14 year olds. We start the night together, then split into age specific groups and do practical badges, activities and games, all in the context of learning more about the Saviour, Jesus!

Led by committed Christian leaders, we meet every second Wednesday from 7pm – 8.30pm in Potter St. Hall, Geelong West. You don’t have to be a member of the church for your kids to come, and parents are welcome to stay to see what we do. Contact head leader Sylvia Brown on 5277-9167 for more info.

GEMS in Geelong is part of a nationwide movement with a wonderful website all of their own. Learn more about GEMS - click here

Busy Bees
For boys and girls aged 7-8 years old. The Busy Bees meet with and do similar activities to the Gems girls, but these are tailored to the younger age group. Girls later become Gems while boys go on to Cadets. Having fun learning more about Jesus! Great!

Little Potter's Playgroup.
At Little Potters we have fun!

If you are looking for an activity time with your 0-5 year old child as well as a place to meet some other parents - Little Potters Playgroup is for you!

Our program includes craft, music, games, outings, stories, and more. Come along and share in the friendship and fun! The first visit is free; after that we ask a weekly fee of $2-00 per family, as well as an annual registration of $20-00

Little Potters is a playgroup for kids up to school age - and their mums (or dads!). It's a great time of fellowship for the mums, and the kids just enjoy themselves! You don't have to come to church to come to the playgroup - many of the mums and kids that come are not church members. Every Tuesday from 9.30 to 11am, and Wednesday's from 10.00 – 11.30am (except school holidays) at the Potter St hall in Geelong West. Please phone Michele Warren on 5222-4251 for more info.

Church Education Classes
The way to get kids to know about the Christian faith is to teach them! That's pretty obvious, so that is what the Church does. The church does this to help parents, who have the first responsibility to teach their kids about the faith.

The way the church does this is by providing weekly catechism classes for all children of high school age (Based on the Heidelberg Catechism, which is a beaut summary of Bible teaching). Usually on Thursday nights from 7-15 to 8-15. Contact Jason Spits on 5278 6523 for more info.

Christian Seniors
Only if you're over 50! Our Seniors really do have great fellowship together - every Wednesday morning from 10 to 11-30, at the Potter St Hall, Geelong West. Contact Miss Riet van den Heuvel on 5229-1337 or Mrs Toos In't Veld on 5278-1352. You don't have to be a member of the Church to come.
