About the C&MA
This page presents background information on the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Australia and overseas. The Goldfields Alliance Church is part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance of Australia Inc, which in turn belongs to the wider body of the Christian and Missionary Alliance World Fellowship.
We are Christian because we believe and follow Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord. We are Missionary because we are committed to reaching nonbelievers with the good news of Jesus Christ.
Who are the C&MA?

The Christian and Missionary Alliance of Australia is an alliance of evangelical believers, joined together in individual churches and committed to fulfilling the Great Commission given by our Lord Jesus. That commission clearly instructs us, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you..." Matthew 28:19,20

The Christian and Missionary Alliance is committed to world missions, stressing the fullness of Jesus Christ in personal experience, building the Body of Christ and preaching the gospel to the ends of the earth.
In Australia...
The Australian Christian and Missionary Alliance currently has missionaries serving in South East Asia, and also with the Australian Aborigines in Western Australia, with more preparing to be deployed.

Christian and Missionary Alliance churches can be found in most states with international congregations (Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, Indonesian) in some capital cities. See our list of Alliance churches in Western Australia. The Canberra College of Theology trains pastors, missionaries and Christian workers for effective service in Australia and overseas.
