The Open Sanctuary@tilba

The Revd Linda Chapman writes "We have just won some funding through local council for a fence (to keep cows out) and some seedlings to begin planting. Recently (4 Dec) we held a gathering in connection with the Montreal Climate Change Conference. We intend to include the planting of trees and shrubs in our liturgy each time we come together. Our aim is to raise consciousness and compassion for creation, build relationships with local community and strive to act contemplatively i.e. not activism alone but action and prayer together.
