Nearly all of the material I have recorded is original, written about life's difficulties and the lessons that the Lord has graciously taught me. They feature a wide and varied range of styles from rock to ballad, are aimed at the heart, dealing with issues that affect both men and women, Christians and the unchurched. They use humour and honest, open sharing of my own life and struggles, because I know that if I have walked a difficult road, others will be doing the same.

The Mission.

God said to Jeremiah, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations" (Jeremiah 1:5). This verse speaks to my heart, and challenges me to be a prophetic voice in song not only my own country of Australia, but to many other nations around the world. Music is unique in that it bypasses the reasoning of the brain and directly touches the heart. It is a tool which, if used effectively, can spearhead the gospel by preparing the hearts of hearers. By linking with one of Australia's leading evangelists the dream of being a prophetic voice in song is being realized, and many people are responding to the Gospel

The Family

Darin Browne is married to Fiona and has three beautiful girls, Tara (14), Kira (12) and Kristi (nearly 9). "We never did figure out how to make boys", says Darin, "lost the recipe. The result is three young ladies of whom I am intensely proud.

The Browne family live on a small property nestled into the hinterland of the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, Australia, without doubt one of the most beautiful areas in the world in which to live.

The Browne family attends Nambour Baptist Church on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, where he is Music Director and Worship Leader. His church wholeheartedly endorse his ministry and provide prayer and fellowship for Darin and Fiona, releasing him as the Lord requires to minister around the world.

Darin is a Behavioural Optometrist in his alleged spare time, in between tours and recording sessions, and he works a few days a week when he is home at Horgan and Petty Optometrists, Gympie, Queensland. Working in his profession enables Darin to minister and be involved in missions freely.

Involvement with Bill newman International



Bill Newman is one of Australia's leading evangelists. He is a powerful preacher and writer, and well received and accepted by church leaders from all denominations in Australia and other parts of the world.

"Bill Newman is awesome! Without doubt he is the most powerful drawer of souls that I have ever ministered with," says Darin, "and most often we see hundreds and even thousands of people streaming to the front to stand for Jesus."

He continues, "My role with Bill Newman involves singing solos and preparing the way for his message, as well as leading the worship during crusade meetings. I also film for his TV show, and design and operate some audio-visuals which we are using at meetings."

The Lord is leading Bill and his team, of which Darin is a part, up into Asia with the gospel. They are living proof that powerful music and powerful preaching can work hand in hand to impact lives, churches and whole communities.
