When is a good
time to be saved?
Why do I need saving?
The bible tells us, in the beginning God created everything including man and woman. God gave only one law for man and woman to obey. Man decided to break that law. God is a just being, there is no deceit or double standard, no evil of any kind. Man's evil act (sin) damaged and tainted all creation with evil.
God's good (righteousness) destroys evil like the light of the sun destroys the dark. God separated from evil man otherwise man would be destroyed. That man's sin is reflected in all creation and all of us. Each of us is cut off from God. Without God we will die.
God created the laws to show us His standard. The law demonstrates that none of us can live up to his standard. However, God loves us so much that while we were evil and cut off, He made a way for us to be together again. Someone who was without sin, had to pay the price for all of us sinners. God sent his Son, Jesus, to pay the price we owed for our sin. God's promise is, whoever believes in Jesus, turns from their evil (repents) and accepts Him as Lord would be saved and receive eternal life.
Who is God?
God is the Supreme Being who created everything. He set the stars in their places and makes the planets journey around the sun. God makes the grass grow and gives life to all living things. God created you and I. He gives us everything that is good.
God is unchanging. He is constant. His promises are forever, his words never fail.
How can I be saved?
To be saved you must believe in Jesus, the Son of God. Believe He died for your sin. Turn away from your evil deeds as defined in God's law (the ten commandments). Accept Jesus as you master.
Who is Jesus?
Jesus is the Son of God. He was born of Mary a virgin. He is both man and God in a combination that is a very difficult concept for us to understand. He taught the word of God and performed many miracles for three and a half years. At the end of that period he was arrested on trumped up charges, tried and sentenced by a bureaucracy that didn't care and executed. Three days after he died he was raised from the dead. He met many people, spoke and ate with them before ascending into the sky. In heaven he is seated at the right hand of God the father. Soon he will return to rule the over all the earth.
Who is the Holy Spirit?
The Holy Spirit is the third facet of God. He is a person like the father and Jesus. Jesus described Him as the comforter. The Holy Spirit guides, protects and helps all who call Jesus, Lord
When is a good time to be saved?
Now is the best time to be saved. Don't put it off. If you want to be free, do it now. Seek out a Christian friend or Church and ask them to help.
Where can I go?
Any Church, like ours, that upholds the Bible as the word of God is a good place to go.
