Aims of CCWNTo foster a deepening of worship through music and other creative expressions in churches and across the Canberra region, in support of our churches/leaders' desire to seek that God's name may be glorified in our region.To build relationships through fellowship and prayer for each other. To strengthen and encourage each other in ministry through providing opportunities for communication, for sharing of gifts, experiences and knowledge and for input from gifted people. To assist the promotion and coordination of major worship/music/creative arts events being sponsored by various churches in the region.
Who is the network for?Leaders of music/worship teams and other people with associated leadership responsibilities. Membership of the network is purely voluntary and based on relationships between participants.The network is cross-denominational and reflects differing experiences, expressions and styles of worship. The uniting features are membership of the Body of Christ and an openness to the Holy Spirit's ongoing renewal of our lives and our worship. Individual participants in the network remain accountable to their own church leadership while the activities of the network are conducted in association with the Canberra Christian Network.
